One person killed, another injured in shooting in northeastern Spain

MADRID, May 05 (YPA) – One person was killed and another seriously injured on Thursday in a shooting in the city of Tarragona, in northeastern Spain.

Local media reported that three masked men got out of a tourist car bearing French plates and shot two people in another car, killing one of them instantly and seriously injuring the other, who was taken to the hospital.

Sources close to the investigation indicated that the main hypothesis that the police operate on is settling accounts between organized crime gangs linked to drugs, in view of the file of the perpetrators of the shooting and the victims, all of whom are of French nationality.
