SANAA, May 02 (YPA) – Four people were killed on Tuesday and seven others suffered burns after a fire broke out in a neighborhood in the eastern Indian state of Bihar.
The Chinese news agency “Xinhua” quoted local authorities as saying that the police received a report of a fire in a slum near the ramdayalo railway station in Muzaffarpur district, about 70 km north of Patna, the capital of Bihar, resulting in the death of four people after being trapped by flames inside their huts, and seven others were injured and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The authorities added that they were able to control the fires with the help of Fire Brigades, while an investigation was opened to find out the circumstances of the incident.
