Militants killed in Taiz shooting

TAIZ, April 29 (YPA) – About 2 militants were killed and 2 others wounded in a shooting on Saturday in Al-Shamayatain district, southwest of Taiz province.

Local sources in reported that one of the militants of the Islah Party-affiliated Fourth Brigade, called “Imad Hussein”, oprned fire towards the four citizens in Ma’wal village of the district.

The sources confirmed that the dead and wounded were among the followers of the so-called Adel Al-Asbahi, who is close to UAE-backed Tariq Afash”, against the background of Afash’s mobilization in the western coast.

Other sources attributed the clashes erupted as a result of a dispute between the two parties over a plot of land.
