Russian Foreign Minister arrives in Venezuela on official visit

WORLD, April 19 (YPA) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in the Venezuelan capital Caracas on Tuesday evening on an official visit as part of a tour of Latin American countries that began from Brazil.

Lavrov is scheduled to hold talks with his Venezuelan counterpart Ivan Gil Pinto and Vice President Delcy Rodriguez in Caracas.

In addition, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro will receive the Russian minister.

Earlier, The Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Lavrov is on a trip to Latin America from April 17 to 21, during which he is scheduled to visit Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba.
