“Southern Movement” calls for expelling occupying forces from southern Yemen

SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – The “Southern Revolutionary Movement” called on the people of the southern provinces to end foreign tutelage, demanding the withdrawal of all occupation forces from southern Yemen.

A spokesman for the movement stressed the need to end the “Saudi-Emirati occupation” in the southern provinces, and to restore the Yemeni territories occupied by Saudi Arabia.

He stated that the movement is a partner with the Sanaa government in liberating southern Yemen from foreign occupation, and that it is not concerned with any agreements that do not solve the southern issue within the national framework.

“The ambition of the southern revolutionary movement lies in establishing an independent, national, democratic state in Yemen that contributes to the security and stability of the region and the future of Yemen,” the spokesman said.

He called for the reconstruction of Yemen, the payment of compensation, and the fair trial of the perpetrators of war crimes against humanity.
