Al-Maysari accuses UAE of tearing social fabric in Abyan

MUSCAT, April 05 (YPA) – The former “Minister of the Interior” in the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, Ahmed Al-Maysari, has called on the UAE to withdraw its weapons and armored vehicles from what he described as the “thugs” of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia.

In a brief statement, Al-Maysari condemned the killing of the commander of the so-called “security belt” in Mudiya, Saddam Hussein al-Salhi, by an Emirati armored vehicle as heinous and an attempt to tear the social fabric and ignite internal strife.

Al-Maysari, who resides in the Omani capital, Muscat, warned of the consequences and danger of handing over the UAE’s armored vehicles and weapons to what he described as “thugs,” who are not related to security work.
