Russia’s Kama arrives in Bab al-Mandab Strait of Yemen

SANAA, April 01 (YPA) – A Russia’s ship has arrived in the Bab al-Mandab Strait in Yemen, to reinforce the presence of its forces in the area extending from the Strait to the Suez Canal.

Sources familiar with said on Saturday that the Russian ship “Kama” working to provide support to the Russian warship ” Admiral Gorshkov”, stationed in the area from its permanent headquarters off the coast of Djibouti towards the Yemeni side of the strait.

The sources expected the arrival of more Russian naval vessels to the region in light of the escalation of global tension amid expectations of the outbreak of a third world war, the signals of which began to take shape in Ukraine.
