Politician accuses STC of abandoning its supporters’ demands in Aden

ADEN, March 28 (YPA) – A southern political analyst accused on Tuesday the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) of abandoning the demands of its supporters and submitting to the coalition-backed government.

Majed Al-Daari, an editor-in-chief of Observers Press website, explained that the war of services caused the STC militias to lose confidence among the southern people, in light of the efforts of the government of Maeen Abdul-Malik to subjugate the STC.

Al-Daari indicated on Twitter that “the Maeen government trying to bring the STC to its control through the salary of its forces.”

He said that the partnership of the STC with the government loyal to the coalition prevented the latter from taking any position that would triumph over the suffering of citizens, calling to take a clear, frank and courageous stance towards the efforts to subjugate the STC by the coalition.
