Saudi military forces arrive in Aden al-Maashiq Palace

ADEN, March 25 (YPA) – The Saudi military forces have arrived, over the past hours, in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, in southern Yemen.

According to local sources, about 1,800 recruits who were trained in Saudi camps arrived at al-Maashiq Presidential Palace, a residence of the so-called head of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council,” Rashad al-Alimi, and the coalition-backed government.

The sources indicated that the new forces were formed by Saudi Arabia from Aden people, who were trained in the Saudi Tabuk area under the supervision of foreign officers.

The sources indicated that the new forces, called Dara al-Watan, would be tasked with protecting Maashiq Palace.
