Al-Hirak reveals trial scenario for STC’s leaders

ADEN, March 23 (YPA) – The Southern Movement known as Al-Hirak on Wednesday revealed preparations seeking to try leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), headed by Aidarous al-Zubaidi, during the current period, as a result of the attempt to assassinate Maeen Abdul-Malik, the head of the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition.

A spokesman of the revolutionary movement, Mohammed Al-Noamani, that the head of the STC  fell into trouble when he  returned to Aden, with some leaders.

He indicated that there are preparations and arrangements for their trial, referring to the next scenario sought by Saudi Arabia in Aden.

Al-Numani pointed out in a tweet on Wednesday evening, that among the charges against the leaders of the “STC” represented by Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, planning an attempt to assassinate Maeen Abdul-Malik, the head of the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition, last Monday in Abyan.

The Saudi forces arrested about 8 leaders of the STC in Abyan Governorate over their attempt to assassinate the head of the pro-coalition government, and placed them in a prison, some of whom were severely beaten.

The so-called General Staff of Abyan axis” affiliated with the STC, Mohammed Mansour al-Saadi, admitted their failure  to prevent Maeen Abdul Malik from entering Zinjibar, accusing the latter of seeking to cause strife between the security leaders and the STC’s Abyan axis.
