Clashes erupt between tribesmen in Shabwa

SHABWA, March 13 (YPA) – Armed confrontations erupted on Monday between tribesmen near the city of Ataq, in oil-rich Shabwa province, which is under the control of the UAE-backed  militia.

According to tribal sources, the tribesmen used medium and heavy weapons in the clashes which broke out between the tribes of Dabi Laqmoush in the Habban district, due to tribal revolts.

No casualties have been reported so far.

The coalition countries, “Saudi Arabia and the UAE, worked through their local tools to revive and finance revenges with money and weapons, among the members of the Shabwa tribes, after their success in restoring regional conflicts between the areas of Dhalea Yafa on the one hand and  the Abyan tribes on the other.

Last Saturday, Tribal Sheikh Ahmed Salem Al-Suraimi Al-Juwaimi was killed by  tribal gunmen in the Habban area due to a revenge case.
