TAIZ, March 12 (YPA) – A number of activists confirmed on social media, on Sunday, that a fishing boat sank and five fishermen were lost in the coastal city of Mokha, southwest of Yemen.
The activists confirmed that the waves submerged one of the fishermen’s boats in Mokha, which caused it to capsize and led to loss five fishermen.
They also said that the waves swallow the boats of fishermen from the city of Mokha every day because they were deprived of fishing in the safe areas, which they were deprived of and turned into military barracks for the coalition forces.
This comes weeks after the Emirati militias prevented Mokha fishermen from fishing on the coasts of the Red Sea, which turned it into a coast for smuggling weapons and drugs.
