SANAA, March 12 (YPA) – The Parliament members on Sunday underlined the importance of diagnosing the problems of lack of water provision in the provinces, including Hajjah, and searching for alternative solutions to provide water to citizens, especially given the country’s exceptional circumstances as a result of the aggression and blockade.
This came after the Parliament heard from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water, Abdulsalam Al-Hakimi, and the Director General of the Water Corporation in Hajjah province, Amin Saif Hizam, about the reasons for the suspension of water supplies to citizens.
The Parliament decided to request that the National Salvation Government organize a commission to go into the field and diagnose the problem of providing water to citizens in Hajjah and the other provinces, as well as to provide acceptable solutions and cures.
In its session, the Parliament also discussed the draft law on manuscripts in light of the additional report given by the Media, Culture, and Tourism Committee.
The completion of the bill discussion was postponed until the next session of Parliament in the presence of the concerned government side.
