SANAA, March 10 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected thunderstorms of varying intensity in several provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center said, in its weather bulletin on Friday, that rainfall of varying intensity would prevail over parts of the western and northwestern highlands of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, Ibb and Taiz.
It pointed out the possibility that the rains may extend to parts of the deserts and internal highlands of Bayda, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf, and Hadramout.
Active to very fast winds may blow west of the Gulf of Aden, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the south of the Red Sea, working on sea turbulence and high waves.
The center warned citizens in areas where rain expected from being in the valleys and streams of torrential rains, calling on motorists to drive carefully on mountain roads as a result of decrease in the horizontal visibility due to low clouds and fog.
