1,361 objects of coalition’s explosive remnants collected in Hodeida

SANAA, March 05 (YPA) – About 1,361 objects of explosive remnants of the coalition were collected in Hodeida province, during the month of February.

Executive Center for Mine Action in Sana said in a news statement that it carried out a technical survey to mark an area of 44,938 square meters, purging 79,606 square meters of war remnants in the province.

12 citizens were killed and 34 others wounded as a result of war remnants in a number of province in the last February.

The statement pointed out that the center provided medical support and prosthetic equipment to 15 people injured as a result of these remnants.

It stated that the center’s awareness teams carried out awareness activities about the dangers of coalition remnants in eight districts in Sanaa province, benefiting 19,142 people from various segments of society.

On Friday, 46 civilians were killed or injured due to coalition remnants of mines and cluster bombs during last February, in the provinces of Hodeida, Hajjah, Lahj, Saada, Jawf, Bayda, Marib.
