Pro-coalition gunmen shoot citizen’s car, causing it to burn in Mahra

MAHRA, March 03 (YPA) – Gunmen loyal to the Saudi-led coalition opened fire on a citizen’s car, causing it to burn in Mahra province, in eastern Yemen, on Friday.

Local sources reported that militants loyal to the extremist Salafist leader, Abdullah Marei, opened fire on the car of Salem Sheikh Mubarak Bakrit, in Al-Homa area, on the road linking Qishn district and Atab area.

The sources pointed out that Bakrit and his family miraculously survived the attack, and the car caught fire.
