Armed confrontations renew in Taiz

TAIZ, March 06 (YPA) – Armed confrontations renewed on Monday between Sana’a forces and coalition forces in a number of fronts in Taiz province, southern Yemen, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Local sources said that armed groups of Islah militias carried out an infiltration operation towards al-Aynain area in Belad Al-Wafi of Jabal Habashi district, west of the city of Taiz.

The sources confirmed that Sanaa’ forces managed to repel the attack and forced Islah militants to flee towards their sites west of the city.

The latest news reported that the battles extended from the west of the city towards al-Hasaber area below Selw road, southeast of Taiz.
