Yemeni riyal continues to drop in southern, eastern provinces

SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal continued on Thursday to decline against foreign currencies in the southern and eastern provinces controlled by the Saudi-led coalition forces.

The US dollar exchange rate in Aden reached 1,261 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal exchange rate reached 331 Yemeni riyals.

In Sanaa, the Yemeni riyal exchange rate remained stable at 548 riyals to the dollar and 146 riyals to Saudi riyal, thanks to a series of measures implemented by the Sanaa government last year to maintain monetary stability.
