SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – A number of Yemeni provinces, including the capital Sanaa, will witness rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms.
According to the National Center of Meteorology, the rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms will prevail over separate areas of the provicnes of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Al-Mahweet, Dhamar, Taiz, and parts of eastern Hajjah, Raymah, Ibb and Dhalea.
In its weather bulletin on Thursday, the center indicated that the rains may be extended eastward towards some areas of Jawf, Marib, Abyan, Shabwa, and the Hadramout, with the possibility of active to strong winds blowing over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab Strait, reaching 32 knots.
It called on citizens in the areas where rain expected not to be in the valleys and torrential passages during and after the rains, and to take shelter from thunderstorms.
