Minister of Transport inspects container terminal in port of Hodeida

HODEIDA, March 01 (YPA) – Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Yahya al-Durra, inspected on Wednesday the yards of the container terminal in the port of Hodeida and the level of organizing the entry of ships and unloading their cargo.

The Minister of Transport, along with the CEO of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Ishaq, and his deputy, Zaid Al-Washli, were briefed on the progress of work at the station and the level of arrangements for receiving containers and container ships at the port.

The Minister also visited the Maritime Operations Building and saw its contents related to the navigational movement and tracking of ships in the port of Hodeida.

During the visit, the Minister of Transport stressed that everyone assumes responsibility for alleviating the suffering of the citizen and translating the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership, the Supreme Political Council, the Salvation Government, and the Ministry of Transport to activate the strategic port of Hodeida.

He urged all to work as one team to facilitate the process of releasing goods as soon as possible and to make more efforts to ensure speedy and smooth work.
