Sanaa says int’l community’s inaction encourages Saudi regime to commit more crimes in Yemen

SANAA, March 01 (YPA) – Minister of Human Rights in Sanaa government, Ali Al-Dailami, confirmed that the crimes of the Saudi regime committed in the border areas of Saada province have become daily in light of the silence of the international community.

Al-Dailami said, in a news statement Wednesday, that the international organizations would not move to reduce Saudi crimes against civilians at the borders.

“The international community always acquiesces to the American demands and is a partner in the ongoing coalition crimes against the Yemenis,” he added.

For the past 20 days, 46 civilians have been killed or wounded as a result of the continuous Saudi bombing of the border villages of Saada, according to human rights activists.

“Despite Sanaa’s continuous calls for impartial international commissions of inquiry to investigate into the crimes and violations of the coalition and the Saudi forces, the UN Security Council and international organizations show no concern for the victims of war crimes committed by the coalition against civilians in Yemen,” Al-Dailami explained.

He went on to say: “We have monitored and documented the Saudi regime’s crimes at the borders, and we have summoned human rights organizations, through Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to inform international organizations that they are not carrying out their humanitarian duty.”

Commenting on the donors’ conference in Geneva, he said, most of the donors’ money goes to international organizations, while the Yemeni citizen benefits only from a little,” calling for the return of the looted wealth and the payment of employee salaries without the need for money from any country.
