Zionist settler killed, 4 others wounded in West Bank attack

PALESTINE, Feb. 28(YPA) – A Zionist settler was killed and four others, including critical cases, were injured on Monday in two shootings carried out by a Palestinian resistance fighter in the Jordan Valley near the city of Arīḥā, east of the occupied West Bank.

According to the Zionist enemy’s media, the settler was killed as a result of his car being shot directly with a firearm, while four others were wounded about ten minutes after carrying out the first operation, which took place near the exact location on Street 90 in the Jordan Valley, north of the Dead Sea.

The media indicated that the injured were taken to hospital.

The forces of the Zionist enemy came to the place of the two operations and imposed a security cordon after closing a number of roads and entrances to Arīḥā, where combing operations being conducted in order to reach the port, which was able to withdraw, using helicopters and drones.

For its part, local sources reported that settlers attacked citizens’ cars and homes near Aqabat Jaber camp, southwest of Arīḥā.

On Sunday, two settlers were killed by a shooting carried out by a Palestinian youth inside the town of Hawara in Nablus, before he withdrew from the place safely.
