SANAA, July 1 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and 20 others were injured on Sunday when Suicide bomb car went off bomb near a war house of The ballot boxes in Iraq’s Kirkuk.
According to Iraqi police, a suicide bomber driving a car blew his car off at the gates of the polls’ store of the parliamentary general elections in Kirkuk province, causing human and material losses.
Kirkuk’s governor, Rakan Saeed al-Jabouri, described the bombing as “a major terrorist act targeting the stability of Kirkuk.”
In a press statement, he said: “Targeting the warehouse of the parliamentary general elections today is a dangerous message, but our forces will address all attempts to destabilize Kirkuk’s security which caused casualties among our heroic forces.
He added that but the ballot boxes are not affected by any damage, and this makes us more united and cohesive to maintain the security of Kirkuk.
