Syria: 3.6 magnitude Earthquake hits west of Lattakia city

WORLD, Feb. 25 (YPA) – An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale struck west of Lattakia city in the Mediterranean on Friday at 11:10 p.m.

The earthquake occurred at 2,803km depth under the sea, 48km west of Lattakia city,  the Syrian  National Earthquake Center said in a statement.

Earlier, the National Center has recorded 33 weak aftershocks from 8 a.m.to 10 a.m.
