Residents killed after building collapses in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Feb. 21 (YPA) – About two citizens, including a child, were killed and three others wounded on Tuesday when a residential building partially collapsed in the city of Hodeida.

Civil Defense Authority stated that the northern wall of a two-storey building located on Sanaa Street in the city of Hodeida has collapsed.

The authority attributed the collapse of the building’s wall to negligence and lack of maintenance.

It renewed its call to adhere to security and public safety measures and self-protection to prevent various risks.
