SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – A light frost will be formed in parts of the provinces of Yemen during the coming 24 hours, as a result of the cold weather, the National Center of Meteorology expected on Monday.
The center said in its weather forecast that the cold weather may target Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Bayda, Saada, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Taiz, Dhalea and Ibb.
It pointed out that the weather to be relatively dusty in separate areas of deserts, internal plateaus and parts of the western highlands, while active winds reaching its maximum speed of 27 knots, over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children and workers, of the cold weather, calling on farmers to take the necessary precautions to protect their agricultural crops.
