Dozens of citizens killed in Syria ISIS attack

SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Over 50 citizens were killed on Friday in an attack carried out by ISIS terrorists, southeast of the city of Al-Sukhna,the eastern countryside of Homs.

The “Syrian News Agency, Sana,” reported that the citizens were targeted while collecting truffles in the area.

In the same context, 4 Syrians were killed, including a woman, and 10 others were injured, in a similar attack, shot by members of the “ISIS” organization, south of Palmyra, in the eastern countryside of Homs, Syria, about 5 days ago.

The organization “ISIS” has been active for many years in that area and the Syrian desert, working to target both civilians and military personnel, as there are still many terrorist enclaves of the organization that receive support and training from their sponsors at Al-Tanf base in Syria.

The Russian intelligence had reported a few days ago that the United States had selected 60 militants last January to carry out terrorist acts in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, and that their training was taking place at “Al-Tanf” base.
