Moroccan military official visits Zionist entity of “Israel”

WORLD, Feb. 17 (YPA) – A Moroccan military official landed in Tel Aviv Tuesday, marking the first public visit of an Arab military official to the Zionist entity of “Israel”.

Ella Waweya,  Deputy IDF Spokesperson for Arab media said that “the Moroccan military official is visiting Israel for the first time.”

The visit of the commander-in-chief of the Moroccan artillery corps “comes within the framework of valuing the cooperation and relationship between the artillery corps of the Israeli and Moroccan occupation”, she said, without specifying its duration.

“A Moroccan mission toured several military sites to get a closer look at the military field challenges of the Israeli occupation’s artillery corps,” she added.

The Israeli occupation army posted on its social media platforms pictures of the Moroccan military official visiting Israeli military sites accompanied by his counterparts, without indicating the date or duration of the visit.

As of 21:00 (GMT), there was no comment from the Moroccan authorities on the visit.
