Zionist authorities approve construction of 7,032 new settlement units in West Bank

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Israeli occupation authorities have approved the construction of 7,032 settlement units out of 9,409 units today in all settlements in the West Bank, Zionist media reported on Tuesday evening.

According to TV7 Israel News, The Cabinet’s decisions are being implemented immediately: along with formal recognition of nine new towns in Judea and Samaria, 9,000 new housing units are being approved for construction.These include, among other things, about 1,100 new housing units that will be approved in Ma’ale Adumim, about 600 in Tel Zion, about 500 in Givat Ze’ev and about 400 in Kedumim and Elazar. In addition, tenders will be published for another 2,377 new housing units throughout Judea and Samaria.

Last Saturday, the Zionist cabinet approved the construction of 5,000 settlement units in response to the latest attacks.

It is noteworthy that a series of shooting and stabbing operations were carried out over the past days, in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which resulted in the death of more than 11 settlers and Zionist soldiers, in response to Zionist violations and the incursion by the occupation forces into in Jenin, Jerusalem and the cities of the occupied Palestinian Bank.
