UAE summons Governor Bin Madhi

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 27 (YPA) – Pro-coalition Governor of Hadramout, Mabkhoot bin Mubarak bin Madhi left for the UAE on an unannounced visit.

This is the second visit since his appointment at the end of July.

The sources did not reveal the objectives of the visit, which comes after televised remarks by “Bin Madhi”, in which he attacked the forces of the “First Military Region” affiliated with Islah Party, demanding their expulsion while defending the forces of the “Barshid Brigade” affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

These developments come after the STC’s military mobilization in Hadramout, against the recruitment of 10,000 individuals by the Islah-affiliated Hadramout Tribes Alliance in response to the STC’s escalation.

For its part, the leadership of the Hadramout tribes’ authority supported the governor’s directives to lift camps and points that do not belong to the state in the province.

Jumaan bin Saad, said that the Hadramout Tribes’ Authority stands by the governor and supports his directives to evacuate all camps and points outside the framework of the state.

At the same time, Bin Jumaan called for the recruitment of the people of the province within the official framework of the state through the ministries of defense and interior.
