Nature of classified documents found at home of former US vice president revealed

WORLD, Jan. 26 (YPA) – Sources revealed to CNN the nature of the classified documents found at the home of Mike Pence, former US Vice President Donald Trump, in Indiana last week.

Those documents included material described as notes prepared for Pence’s foreign trips, the sources said, adding that some of these classified documents were likely used to prepare Pence’s foreign meetings and may have been overlooked during the mobilization process because they were in the middle of old travel volumes.

According to the sources, the classified documents were not noticeable unless the staff went through the volumes carefully, indicating that the memos contained basic biographical information of foreign leaders, and sometimes more sensitive information.

According to an official, the FBI works with US intelligence agencies to evaluate documents, a process that involves determining how up-to-date the information is, its level of classification in terms of confidentiality, and the potential risks of being in an unauthorized location.
