HADRAMOUT, Jan. 25 (YPA) – A leadership of the Saudi forces present in the city of Seiyun, the center of Wadi Hadramout districts, called on the leadership of the pro-UAE Hadrami Uprising to evacuate one of its camps immediately.
A statement issued by the head of the “Hadrami Uprising,” Hassan al-Jabri, confirmed that the leadership of the Saudi forces in Seiyun demanded the evacuation of the “Adab” camp, which is subject to the Uprising, in which there are about 800 recruits, whose numbering was refused as part of the recruitment process called for by the “Hadramout Tribes Alliance” for ten thousand from the province’s people.
The statement indicated that the Saudi forces threatened to storm the camp by force, describing the threat as serious as the coalition and the leadership of the local authority in Hadramout stood against what it called “the will of the people of Hadramout.”
On Tuesday, The Uprising called on its supporters from the people of Hadramout to defend its camp, blaming the coalition leadership and the local authority for the consequences of those threats.
This comes after the return of the head of the so-called “Hadramout Tribes Alliance,” Amr bin Habrish al-Aliay, in early January, coming from Riyadh, and his call to recruit ten thousand people from the districts of Wadi Hadramout, with direct support from Saudi Arabia.
