Yemeni riyal witnesses slight recovery against foreign currency in Sanaa

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Sunday witnessed relative recovery against foreign currencies in the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government, reaching 550 riyal per US dollar and 145 riyals per Saudi riyal.

In the southern provinces of Aden and Hadramout, controlled by the Saudi-led coalition, the exchange rates of riyal continued to decline against foreign currencies, reaching 1,236 riyals per US dollar and 325 per Saudi riyal.
