Meteorology warns residents of going cold wave within coming hours

SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected cold to very cold weather in the Yemeni provinces during the coming hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the cold wave would hit the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Dhalea, Ibb, Lahj, Taiz, Abyan, and Shabwa, with minimum temperatures between 1-4 degrees Celsius.

The center alerted citizens from cold weather, especially the elderly, patients, children and workers during the night and early morning.

It urged farmers, herders and beekeepers to protect their agricultural crops and their property of livestock and bees from the effects of the severe cold wave.
