Bundestag MP Dagdelen: US is pushing Germany to self-sacrifice in the fight against Russia

WORLD, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Sevim Dagdelen, Bundestag deputy from the Left Party said “by pushing Germany to the decision to transfer tanks to Ukraine, the United States is forcing Germany to sacrifice itself in the fight against Russia.”

In an article published in the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, Sevim Dagdelen wrote: “Public pressure to send German tanks to Ukraine is growing. This is what the US wants. But such a move would be a historic mistake.”

According to her, a group of parties has been formed in Germany advocating the speedy transfer of tanks to Ukraine.

“Germany is also facing pressure from other NATO members. They want to send Berlin into the fire in order to finally destroy German-Russian relations,” she added.
