SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng.Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met on Sunday with the resident representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Sana’a, Nestor Omo Hanji, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Yemen.
In the meeting, Minister Sharaf praised the efforts made by Omo Hanji during his tenure in Yemen to strengthen the partnership between the National Salvation Government and the United Nations Population Fund, wishing him success in his future tasks.
He stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to provide the necessary facilities to the United Nations Population Fund and its staff to enable them to carry out their activities as required.
For his part, Omo Hanji expressed his appreciation for the facilities he had touched during his tenure by the Salvation Government represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the relevant authorities of the United Nations Population Fund.
He also stressed that the office will spare no effort in providing all aspects of support and assistance to the Yemeni people, especially in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions they are going through.
