Islah Party carries out military parade with participation of helicopters in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 11 (YPA) – The so-called “First Military Region” affiliated with Islah Party in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Wednesday displayed its armed forces in a military parade in Sayoun city, under the title “the inauguration of the new training year”.

This comes one day after the arrival of the UAE-funded “Al-Amaliqa” forces to Jathma camp.

Observers see that the Islay Party’s military parade comes as a response to the threats of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, which demand the exit of the military region forces from the province.

The military parade revealed that the Islah forces had helicopters, in a clear indication that they can be used in any confrontation with the factions loyal to the UAE.

Activists loyal to the STC accused the command of the First Military Region of pushing the security situation in the districts of Wadi Hadramout towards chaos by the military escalation.

Following the military parade, dozens of the STC followers carried out a protest march on motorcycles that roamed the streets of Sayoun.

The scene in the valley and desert of Hadramout is getting more complicated between the factions loyal to Abu Dhabi on the one hand, and the Islah Party supported by Saudi Arabia on another, which serves the American, British and French agendas and their ambitions to plunder oil wealth and control the regions of eastern Yemen.
