LAHJ, Jan. 11 (YPA) – Tribal gunmen cut off on Wednesday the main road linking the provinces of Aden, Taiz and Lahj in southern Yemen.
According to tribal sources in Lahj, gunmen from Al-Attouin tribe cut the international line in Tur Al-Bahah district of Lahj.
The tribal militants demanded from the coalition forces the release of a locomotive that was detained by Islah elements in Taiz belonging to one of the tribe’s sons.
It is worth mentioning that the Al-Atouine tribe in Lahj has rejected the presence of any militias affiliated with Islah and Transitional in their areas since August 31, 2020.
