Meteorology expects cold weather to continue within coming hours

SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected cold weather to continue to sweep several Yemen provinces.

The center indicated, in its weather forecast, that the weather would be relatively cold in the highlands of the provinces of Dhalea, Ibb, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, Dhamar, Dhalea, Ibb and Taiz, in addition Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.

It pointed to the possibility of active to strong winds, with a maximum speed of 28 knots, over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

The center called on motorists on mountainous roads and slopes of low horizontal visibility due to fog.
