FM official welcomes Malaysia withdrawal from coalition war against Yemen
SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – An official at the Foreign Ministry welcomed Malaysia’s decision to withdraw from the Saudi-led coalition war against Yemen and withdraw its military forces from Saudi Arabia.
The official said, in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, that this decision, which was announced by Malaysian Defense Minister Mohammad Sabo, reflects the wisdom of the new Malaysian political leadership, its keenness to maintain its relations with the Islamic world and the relations between the two countries of Yemen and Malaysia.
The official called on the other countries participating in the coalition to review their policy and end their participation in the war against Yemen.
The official also confirmed that the Yemeni people will remain steadfast to confront the forces of coalition and thwart its schemes associated with the US-Zionist project in the region.
