Temperatures in Moscow hit 20 degrees below zero for second day in row

MOSCOW, Jan. 07 (YPA) – The Russian Meteorological Center reported on Saturday that the temperature will drop 20 degrees below zero in Moscow

The center wrote on its official website that the temperature in the Russian capital on Saturday will be between minus 20 and 22 degrees Celsius. It is possible that on Saturday/Sunday night it drops to minus 24 degrees.

In the Moscow region (the outskirts of the city), the temperature will range on Saturday between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius below zero, and it is possible to drop at night to 27 degrees below zero.

In Moscow and the Moscow region due to severe frosts, the orange level of weather hazard was declared. This level is still in force  from 21:00 from January 5 until 21:00 on Saturday.
