Shura Council condemns storming of Al-Aqsa courtyards by Zionist minister
SANAA, Jan. 04 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Wednesday strongly condemned storming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist extremist Minister of Internal Security, Itamar bin Gvir, under extensive deployment of the Zionist occupation forces.
In a statement it issued today, the Shura Council considered this step a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the holy places in Al-Aqsa, a dangerous escalation, and provocation of the feelings of millions of Muslims in Palestine and the world.
The Council pointed out that the continued American cover has given the Zionist usurping entity the audacity to commit such aggressive acts against the Islamic sanctities in Palestine.
The statement called on the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the United Nations and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to condemn this crime and put an end to these Zionist practices.
In its statement, the Council called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and all the free people of the world to express their anger and denunce all the crimes of the Israeli occupation and to support the choices of the Palestinian people and the axis of resistance in deterring the usurping entity and ending the occupation.
The statement also denounced the repeated Zionist attacks on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic and the targeting of its international airports and infrastructure, affirming that the right of the Syrian people and the axis of resistance to respond to these Zionist attacks.
