TAIZ, Jan. 03 (YPA) – Armed clashes have renewed, for straight second day, between two armed factions of the Saudi-led coalition in the city of Taiz, southern Yemen, killing a citizen and wounding 3 others.
Local sources said on Tuesday that the clashes erupted military factions affiliated with Islah Party.
The sources gunmen affiliated with the Islah leader, Haddam al-Sawa’i, and others affiliated with Yunis al-Hilali, a leader in the same party, clashed with the light arms, following disputes over the robbery of “royalties” in Jabal Habashi area.
The city of Taiz has been witnessing a security collapse recently, in light of the continuation of the series of rivalry between the rival coalition factions over the market revenues.
