Police seize amount of narcotic pills, drugs in Jawf, Hajjah

PROVINCES, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Security forces in Jawf and Hajjah governorates on Wednesday managed to seize a quantity of narcotic hashish and pills.

According to security sources, Al-Hazm police, in cooperation with the military side in Barat Al-Anan district, seized 303 kilograms of narcotic hashish.

Police said the amount of cannabis was seized on board pickup vehicle.

Central Security forces in Al-Humaidat district also seized 63 kilograms of narcotic hashish on a motorcycle.

In Hajjah governorate, security forces in Bani Qa’is district seized one thousand and 896 narcotic pills.

Security sources explained that the amount of narcotic pills was seized on board a car.

The seized hashish has been referred to the competent authorities, while the search and follow-up procedures for the accused are still ongoing.
