ADEN, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia on Sunday imposed new restrictions on international organizations operation in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, after a series of bombings that hit their headquarters.
Aden governor in the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition , Ahmed Lamlas, issued directives to hotel owners not to host any events and workshops, or even not to accept any employees of organizations to stay in the hotels till they sign agreements between organizations and government agencies.
Lamlas required prior permission from him personally.
Lamlas’ directives came after a series of bombings hit organisations’ headquarters, the latest of which was the bomb attack at a new hotel that was preparing to host a workshop.
Lamlas seeks to strip the pro-coalition government of its most important resources and seize allocations provided by international organizations.
