Cold weather continues to sweep various provinces within coming hours

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Thursday the weather would continue to be cold to very cold in a number of Yemeni provinces.

The weather is likely to be cold in the provinces of Dhalea, Lahj, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Taiz, Rayma, Mahweet, Marib, Jawf, Dhamar, Bayda, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, the center indicated in its weather bulletin on Thursday.

It stated that the weather might be relatively cold in the deserts of Mahra, Hadramout, Marib and Jawf, while the active to strong winds, with a speed ranging between 12-24 knots on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab Al-Mandab.

The center called on citizens in cold and very cold areas to take the necessary precautions and wear appropriate winter clothing.
