9 tons of expired foodstuffs, cosmetics destroyed in capital Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) –  The Office of Industry and Commerce in the capital Sanaa destroyed nine tons of damaged and expired foodstuffs and cosmetics during the current week.

Director of the Office of Industry in the capital, Majed Al-Sada, said in a statement that this quantity was destroyed in accordance with legal procedures and with the participation of the Industry and Trade Prosecution.

Al-Sada emphasized the continuation of the field visit to control and inspect markets to control price violations, destroy expired materials, and take action against violators and manipulators.
