Transport Minister stresses importance of investing in various transport sectors

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The Minister of Transport in Sanaa government, Abdulwahhab Yahya Al-Durra, on Wednesday stressed the importance of encouraging investment and exploiting the opportunities available in the various fields of transport.

During a meeting included leaders of the General Authority for Investment and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the capital Sanaa, Al-Durra considered the investment in the field of transportation is one of the main pillars for the advancement of the national economy.

He said that the strategic projects in the fields of land, sea and air transportation would be presented during the forthcoming investment forum, confirming the keenness to develop and modernize the transportation sectors that were severely damaged by the aggression.

In turn, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment, Yasser al-Mansour, stressed the importance of investment projects in the transport sectors, explaining that the meeting comes to exchange views and come up with visions that contribute to the success of the investment forum.
