Gold prices witness stability in Yemeni goldsmiths’ shops

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Gold prices witnessed on Tuesday stability in the Yemeni goldsmiths’ markets in the capital, Sanaa, where the price of a gold pound to 222,000 riyals, while it reached 466,000 riyals in the southern province, controlled by Saudi-led coalition forces.

The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-

– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase =27,850 YER, Sale = 30,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 222,000 YER, Sale = 226,000 YER.

The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-

– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 58,000 YER, Sale = 63,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 466,000 YER, Sale = 480,000 YER.
