Multiple explosions rock Kiev

KIEV, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Multiple explosions were reportedly heared in the Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi districts in Kiev, the mayor of Kyiv said

Vitali Klitschko wrote, in a post to Telegram: “A number of explosions occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi districts near the capital. All services are operational at the scene of accidents.”

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian media said that two series of explosions had occurred in Kiev.

Air raid alerts sounded over all the capital at night and lasted more than 3 hours, and 9 minutes after its cancellation. It said the explosions had led to power outages in several areas of Kiev.
